"Zayn!" I called after him.
"Leave me alone," he demanded.
I didn’t listen and followed him upstairs and onto the balcony. He sat on the rail and looked down.
"I said leave me alone," he repeated.
"I don’t care," I sternly said.
"I don’t want to talk," Zayn said as he jumped off the rail and faced me. I could see tears trying to escape from his red eyes.
"Please don’t cry Zayn," I said trying to hug him.
I wrapped my arms around his torso and didn’t let him go. Zayn had his arms up and didn’t know what to do. After a minute, he wrapped his arms around me and hugged me. I heard him sobbing into my shoulder and I rubbed his back.
"Don’t cry," I said.
"I’m s-s-sorry," he stuttered.
I continued to hug him. Zayn finally stopped after a few minutes. He sniffed and wiped his tears. I let go of him and stared at him.
"Why do you want to meet Perrie so much?" I asked
"Because I was to be cared about, liked…loved," Zayn slowly said.
"I love you," I said.
"Not the way you love Louis. He’s your boyfriend and you love him with all your heart right?" He asked. I nodded.
"But I still love you Zayn. Your an amazing person," I smiled.
"Thanks," he slightly smiled.
"Do you like anyone else? Maybe a vampire?" I asked.
"Yes but not a vampire."
"You," Zayn said.
